AOS Interview.
Hi all,
I went for my AOS interview a couple of weeks ago and the officer told me I would need to send in up to date bank statements etc, (as it took so long to get the interview and the ones I originally sent were too old!) to prove I have sufficient funds in the UK that can be transferred if needed.
In addition, she told my wife and I that we would need fill in form I-864A contract between sponsor (my wife) and household member (me).
I thought my assets were supposed to be included on my wife's original I-864 affidavit of support and that the I-864A was only used as a contract between me and any other immigrant with me. Is this right?
So I sent that in to Baltimore and received a letter telling me it may take 280 days to complete this case!!! Is this usual if you are just sending in additional documents and have already had your interview?
obviously I am kinda disappointed as I thought I was finally going to be done with it all.
