Default AOS Approved-Green Card being processed

Interviewer was great.. saw we had been married for 8 years and a child, So no real test of marriage.

She saw that we had our I-130 approved back in 2005 and asked why the long wait for adjustment. I stated we never got the paper NOA on the approval of the I-130. That I contacted customer service and they didn't help. We finally went to our congressman who's staff told us to send everything we had up to the i-130 approval (receipt of application etc.) and put the approval number at the top of the AOS application.

I guess it all worked because we got approved today... came close to a denial due to length of time between I-130 and the AOS application though so be careful.

His 601 waiver approval carried over from his K-3 so that was a non issue.

All in all a great day in terms of Immigration.. Now not so sure about my Final exam that was on the same day.
