Tucson (my case): two years and one month, still waiting.

says INS Memphis is taking
almost one year between filing and interview, for I-485 applications.

In a recent post in a differnet thread Ingo said that most I-485 AOS cases go through without an interview.....

Any comment?

That statement is true for employment-based I-485s, which are filed at the
INS Service Centers, that is, I-485s based on I-140s or I-360s.

Family-based and diversity-based I-485s, as well as other miscellaneous
I-485s, are filed at the INS district office. The INS always requires
interviews in these cases.
