Anyone send in Orig Approval letter to London to get Interview date?
Has anyone sent in their original approval letter ( with A# on it) to the embassy in london to get interview date faster? We were approved 2/26/03 and London has not received notification of approval yet.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

So if you send in the original I-797, do so only after you have made multiple copies and bring a copy with you to the K-1 interview. If you are lucky, you can "swap" a copy for the original if the US Consulate has received theirs.

London Consulate routinely returns the original. Shouldn't be a problem, but
it makes sense to keep a copy just in case.

They won't return the original if the paperwork from the service
centre has not arrived by the time of the interview. I asked several
times and was refused each time because the paperwork from CSC never
arrived.
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for my AOS interview when it comes
up in a couple of years.
