Hello all,
We just received my wife's EAD. Have not received her SS yet. Going to SS office on Friday to sort it out. When we called they said that they had no record of us applying. Been well over a month now. Love this great system of ours....

So... I'm still not approved, but the "last updated" date for my EAD application now says 10/14/2004. Maybe it's not on Pluto after all! Does this usually happen before an app gets approved?

I'm not sure....but many people have posted a change in the date and have gotten approvals or some sort of communication from USCIS.....let's hope it's an approval!!!! :-)

Woo hoo! I'm approved!!! And they sent me not one, but TWO e-mails to let me know about it. Took them a mere nine months (if you ignore the fact that I sent them everything almost a YEAR ago, and they didn't "receive" it until several months later). Now let's see if they send it to the right address after I changed it with them about 12 times... and how long it takes for them to touch my AOS! But at least I won't have to drive to Chicago again in a few weeks for yet another interim!

When MSC received my fingerprints an updated showed up on my portfolio thingy, I didn't get the approval until 4 months later though

, hope you get it sooner though

Really? Can it take them that long to mail something? (Not that I'd be terribly suprised). Because if my current interim expires before I get the new card, aren't I kind of screwed...?

What's your NOA1?. I don't know.. It took 6 months for me to get the darn approval, I had to contact my congressman. Keep me updated and Good Luck

I'm sure they will, eventually! Call and inquire about your status and why it's taking so long. I tried about five times, but it seems like a little bit of a coincedence that I've finally been approved just a couple of days after I called and spoke to someone who actually seemed to know what they were talking about. So maybe it does some good after all!
