They use I 864 for k3. There is always admistrative review in Manila
espcially documents that are in question.

Christine,
I see in your timeline that you received a letter from NVC after approval of the I-129F. What exactly is this letter, what does it say? When I called NVC to find out if they had received my file (they did), I asked if I was going to receive any notification from NVC, the operator said NO.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Any K3ers from Manila ?
hi claudia! i recieved a letter from NVC stating that
1) i just received an approved I-129f pettition filed on behalf of my spouse
2) to let me know that the petition has been forwarded to the visa-issuaing post overseas that is responsible for processing visa cases originating in the country where we got married
3) records show that i filed for my spouse (his name) and case number is given MNL
4) tells where the case must be processed ( post : manila)
5) tells that spouse will receive a packet with instructions and what documents are required. ...etc
then its signed "sincerely, Bureau of Consular Affairs"
well claudia ..i hope this helps .....please ask your husband to check with his embassy what affidavit of support they require.... just an advice from my experience....
