Re: American girlfriend>English boy (me)>marriage....
7 months later and we have our petition approved. I now miss waiting as its getting closer to me having to actually do something in the UK.
It has just been approved as of the 1st August. Are there any things i can pre prepare before the national visa centre pass to the embassy in the UK?
police check
Jabs up to date (what standard jabs would i need?)
Fill in forms that need filling up

Look ahead to AOS and make sure you have what you need before leaving the UK.

I have nothing to add... except that I very much like the shoot-from-the-hip, no nonsense approach that people are starting to adopt. I approve! Pretty soon... I can retire!

From my US fiancee sending of the I-129f (i think that's what it was called) to it being approved on the 1st August was just under 7 months. So happy that progress, even if a tiny step, has been made. It now says on the website there are further delays and if we haven't heard anything in 8 weeks to contact them. Gulp.
Hope all has gone well for you.
