OH has just left for 8 day trip to Barcelona... so empty days and nights ahead... They say only boring people get bored.. well I must have turned into one of the MOST boring person imaginably... I even bore myself

5.20pm and I have a glass of wine in my hand already.. thinking ahead to the week.. heres some of the delights ahead for me..

1) Go and get SSN sorted.. deep joy..

2) Call dentist for kids.. let them mug me for more money

3) Take daughters car to get brakes sorted.. let them mug me for money

4) Get middle daughter into athletics club.. money has to be involved there somewhere!

5) Attend Son's soccer club AGM.. $1500 for the season.. MUGGED!

6) Go to volunteer coffee morning at the school... REALLY? DO I HAVE TO DO THAT?... no ofcourse not.. don't be daft!!!

7) Sign up for Business Course at college.. (so I can earn lots of money!)


Now i'm bored and p!ssed off after reading that... what an exciting life i do lead...

Any ideas how I can entertain myself... boys need not reply!!!!

Oh anabella.. IF only.. and the little Git has just text me to say he is seated upstaires on the plane in Business or First class or summik.. I lost interest after reading the first couple of lines...

Ah no.. good luck to him.. hope he has a ball... cos I have yet to tell him i'm going to Vegas with my sister in August

I feel your pain, my husband goes all over and I get left behind to man the fort. At least I usually get something Tiffany on the return trip!

Oh MY God.. I've been missing a trick there I did ask for the usual supply of perfume... hmmmm.. Now what else could I ask for....

It is tough.. and actually I don't know why but this time seems harder than other times... I think there is some jealously involved.. Wouldn't it be soooo lovely to just jet off stay in a hotel.. have meals cooked etc etc... Business trip my arse..!!

It sucks a bit because his last company would sometimes pay for me and my daughter to join, and with the amount of vacation I used to get in Amsterdam it was totally doable. But here I can't even take a day off sick so it wouldn't matter if they would pay or not

I get the jealousy thing too - especially when they get upgraded! I'm left with the sick kid who only wants to eat macaroni and he's eating out on his $100 a day dinner allowance.

Yeap.. he got upgraded.. but I'm kinda happy for him.. I'd love that.. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT.. My sisters husband is a captain for Delta and a few of us flew to see her in Salt Lake on a 'buddy scheme'.. all my other family got upgraded... when it came to my turn .. did i get upgraded.?. did I heck!! I'm still bitter about it

I'm bored as it is.. and with him gone i won't have anyone to play with and it seems even worse at the weekends for some reason...

I'm gonna look through t'internt now and look for somewhere lovely to go on our holidays... maybe that'll cheer me up

And why don't they get that when they get upgraded they are supposed to bring us back the goodies! I've told my husband a thousand times!
Although we all got upgraded last week, only to economy plus and only to DC but my husband is over 6ft tall so he needs that extra legroom!
