hi, i petitioned for my husband and his interview next month in London, i was wondering if he gets an approval how long does it take to get the visa on the courier?

Hi aliya, Welcome to BE. You posted on an old thread, so I created a new one for your question.

If everything goes well at the interview, it takes a week or two to get the passport/visa back from the embassy.

I believe he needs to schedule the courier before the interview, though...do some research on that.

i did, i just need the visa mailed with in a week so i was wondering if anyone knows exactly how many days it takes, we signed up for the online courier service as well

There is no "exactly" when it comes to this kind of thing. It takes "approximately" 5 - 10 days from the date of interview, maybe more. There is NO way to definitely get it back within 1 week (sure, it might, but you can't predict) . Don't make any travel plans until you have the visa in hand, or at least make sure your travel plans are flexible in case it takes longer than 1 week.

There are no guarantees.

Immigration is not a linear process, therefore no one knows exactly how long it will take. It might be 3 days... it could be 3 weeks. When you have the visa in your hand, you will know exactly how long it took.
