Hi everyone, just had a quick question...

i´m getting ready to send out my husbands EAD paperwork before the fee increase on the 30th. But I have one question, I can´t find his alien number on his passport and I thought I had read in this forum that it is supposed to be on his k3 visa.

I do have my NOA 2 from MSC/NBC and above his name there is an "A" number followed by 8 numbers. I think this is his alien number but I can´t find it on his k3 visa

Any advice?

Does the A# on the NOA start with a 7? That's probably the A#. It may not be on the K3.

Someone aksed that already: There is no Alien Number on pasport or I-94.

It's not impossible for a K3 to have an A#. They could have one from a previous application, or adverse action. For instance, an alien is prevented from coming to live in the US with their spouse on a tourist visa, and is allowed to withdraw their application so they can go get a K3 visa. An A-file would be created as part of the I-275. Anytime someone has an A#, the officer is supposed to mark it on the back of the I-94.

My K3 doesn't have an A# either. My A# was written on the back of my I-94
when I landed at Philadelphia.
