am i right in thinking that i do not need the affadavit of support if 1 i have a job to go to that will support me and my new family,ie wife and 2 children,and have $70.000.00. in a U.S. bank account.
do i still need to fill in the form or just take it to the interview?
also,on entry to the U.S. will i get my green card so i can start work as soon as i get here?

From the fact you said wife I assume you are going for a k-3.

I cant answer your first questions, but on the subject of the green card be prepared for a long wait

I hope your employer is willing to wait, as unless you are the USC (in which case you wouldnt be asking about a green card) you cannot apply for it until you land, and the length of time varies hugely depending where you have to file through.

Will you be filing through Louisville?
I will be filing there also. My fiance will be filing the I-765 (work)right after he enters the U.S. in a few weeks so I will let you know how fast that office is.

K-3 doesn't give you the right to work without EAD.

in that case in all honesty I hope your employer is willing to wait at LEAST 2-3 months before you can start work


...depending where you have to file through... I looked through the list and the average seems to be 60-90 days for an EAD.

Yes your questions have been asked many times. You personally asked the first one almost three months ago. On more than one thread. And got answers.

Re-answering the first question only, since others are covering the second about your ability to work handily:

If you come in on a marriage-based visa your spouse/fiance (3 months ago you were waiting for approval of your I-129F fiance petition and got your approval around a month ago if my memory serves) MUST complete the affidavit of support. If it's at the fiance visa stage, the consulate's policies determine whether it's required, and if it is your fiance MUST do it. If you're now married instead, the Affidavit is a must as a condition of AOS. There is no way around this requirement, and no way around the calculations of income -- whether using just income, or income/asset combinations -- that apply to it. Period.

Assuming the financial circumstances are the same as you first described them to the NG the first time you asked this question, of course you can get a co-sponsor to compensate for any deficiencies if you cannot hit the targets with HER income and usable assets. But the affidavit STILL has to be done.

At least one person in the last thread you started on this gave you a good idea about how to take the funds you have and put them in a position for your fiance/wife to claim them as her assets on the affidavit to help you. Go back and re-read that advice. The law hasn't changed since the last time you asked this question.
