Adjustment of Status
After my fiance and I are married, I know we must apply for this, but the processing center is backlogged 6 months, will he have to go home after the 90 days THEN come back later?

Just be aware that unless you file (and it gets approved) for advance parole, your fiance won't be able to leave the US whilst their AOS is processing.

Yes. But don't forget the AR-11 and writing to tell the USCIS the change of your and your sponsor's (I assume) address.

Right, we figured the time line, hed come here, wed get married within 48 hours, get the AOS out as soon as possible, like that same day if we can... wait 10 days, apply for his Social Security Card, then head to Montana.

I would wait until you have moved to file ..
address changes can be a problem source

I agree, I'd wait until you move to Montana and THEN file AOS. It would save a lot of potential headaches. As long as you're going to be moving that soon (within a couple of weeks of his arrival), it makes more sense to move first, then use a stable address for AOS.
