90 day visa waiver - how to count it?

90 day visa waiver - how to count it?
Hi there - I arrived in the US on 31 August 02 and have a flight booked for 29 November 02. Does anyone know how many days this counts for - 89/90/91 days????? I've tried my local INS and have got 3 different answers..... Cheers A

You arrived on August 31. You need to leave in 90 days,
which is November 29. Don't know about the hours though.

You arrived on August 31. You need to leave in 90 days,
which is November 29. Don't know about the hours though.

It is my understanding that the days of arrival and departure count, so
the timeframe from 31 August to 29 November would be 91 days.
