1st NOA from Nebraska
I guess I spoke too soon when I posted this morning!
We mailed our I-129F package to Nebraska last Saturday and my fiance got the
1st NOA in the mail today, postmarked for October 2nd. That's mighty fast
service.
Too bad it still predicts 70-100 days for the approval.

We'll see I guess
I was expecting to wait at least 100, so I'm not going to bother getting
antsy about it til after that. And who knows, maybe we'll all get lucky and
things will speed up.

I'm on about day 112 now, also filed with Nebraska.
What's your first NOA waiting4T? Has your fiance entered the US since you filed? Asking because I see you list you are living in Seattle and my fiance will be flying in to SeaTac in early November.

Re: 1st NOA from Nebraska
My first NOA is May 31. 130 days now and still nothing, i just called today and they said an officer has had my case since 21st of sept.. i asked how many petitions an officer usually takes to there desk and she said it could be 100 or less. She said the file freeze is over now also. so she said it could be another 30 to 90 days for them to approve me. This is *****ing Crap. No my fiance has never been here she can't, she is from Vietnam. Do you live in washington?

Re: 1st NOA from Nebraska
Well, I guess that is good news about the file freeze being over...but I don't understand how someone could effectively be working on up to 100 petitions at one time! No wonder it is taking so long for us all to see approvals.
I live in Eastern Washington. Fiance is from Holland.
Hope you won't be waiting too much longer. I can only imagine how hard it has been on you.

Re: 1st NOA from Nebraska
Hi Leanne,
It is true that a lot of people have waited for more than 120 days,
but that also included a 21-28 day stretch where Nebraska absolutely
had NO approvals. They seem to be picking up the pace a bit. I would
think you should be around the 100 day mark, although you will also be
going through the holiday season which will add a few days to the
wait. I got my first NOA on August first, so I'm thinking end of
November or so. (110-120 days)
Who knows with NSC, I have seen approvals from july and even august
from NSC. While they are still doing the first week of june
primarily...
Anyway,
Good Luck,
Use the time to gather financail documents for the next stage =)!
