I did look... and while AP is quite common, there's nowhere official (that I can find) where it states that AP is mandatory. Further, just because someone gets a letter stating that they have to undergo "mandatory AP" it doesn't necessarily follow that AP is, in fact, mandatory.

I appreciate that English is not your first language but the message is clear:
After the AP, they will either approve your visa or deny it.

Approval is not the only conclusion available.

When you go to the interview, there are only 2 ways it can go. You can either be approved, or denied. So one of those 2 things will happen. We can't predict which one.
