I took the blog down in anticipation of litigation. If I'm paying someone to create a narrative of my existence I don't think I should impede her efforts by making facts readily available.

The link above is to a point about fifteen miles away from the house, if I scroll to the same location as I used with google, I get images of the same quality so I suppose they have a common source.

My Canadian post code is L0N 1S6. Putting that into google gets me within 5 miles of the house. Scrolling and zooming in as far as google supports in satellite view, I can make out my barn but not the house. The google streetview horse and cart will be some years getting to me.

Now that is what I call a quiet life.

Yes, I think "timid respectability" reasonably describes it.

Thought it would be fun to see where you all live now, or before, or both.

For those that don't know about Google street view, just go to Google, then click on maps, then just keep zooming in till you find your house and eventually it will turn into street view. It's very cool. I'm not addicted at all. Honest

Oh, meant to say. Once youfind your house, press the PRT SCR button on your keyboard. That will put the image onto your clipboard, then you can open a paint program and paste as new image.

WTF?

Before (Mersyside) . . . after (bucolic Montreal, QC).

Identity theft is big business, I would not recommend posting specifics like names, phone# email or physical address.

My anonymity is probably safe for a bit...probably looks just like dbds place;)

It covers an area of about 80 square miles. There is probably enough info and pictures posted here to track me down though if you really wanted too.

Streetview doesnt yet pass my door though.
