Thought it would be fun to see where you all live now, or before, or both.
For those that don't know about Google street view, just go to Google, then click on maps, then just keep zooming in till you find your house and eventually it will turn into street view. It's very cool. I'm not addicted at all. Honest
Our wee house in Glasgow:

Oh, meant to say. Once youfind your house, press the PRT SCR button on your keyboard. That will put the image onto your clipboard, then you can open a paint program and paste as new image.

only works in a few areas of UK.... Obviously the google car hasnt put in all the miles it needs to yet.
(By comparison Australia is very comprehensively mapped and the Google car recently did a 2nd lap to update pictures)

Australia also has something called Nearmap which is much clearer than Google maps. I could zoom in enough to see my smalls hanging on the clothesline in my back yard with nearmap.

It's easy enough to blurr our an address if you want to, personally, I think if someone wants to know where you live they can find out much easier than searching through a forum.
And anyway, I have a dog that could chew through a steel cage

lol, offence taken
And I bet you didn't notice it's a semi, so only half of that is ours
But it's in a nice area, so not the end of the world if we have to stay a while.
Why are folk so paranoid about showing where you live? Do you actually think anyone really gives a crap?

This is the post code of where I lived in the UK. SW1A 1AA I think it comes up if you google it.
I am not putting my Canadian post code on here, too risky. I just want a quiet life now.

My Canadian post code is L0N 1S6. Putting that into google gets me within 5 miles of the house. Scrolling and zooming in as far as google supports in satellite view, I can make out my barn but not the house. The google streetview horse and cart will be some years getting to me.

I can see into my garage. The door was open. Oddly, though, it attributes a number to my house that does not exist. There is no number 60.
