You know your getting old when...

You go to a concert, that's standing only, starts late, get squished and achy and then have to drive home (thank you Mr Piff) and then struggle to hear with a thumping headache when you get up in the morning and you've not had any alcohol

We got home at around 1:30 am from Calgary, I was lucky enough to have not been scheduled for work, fate has closed Teen Piff's school today, poor Mr Piff who did all the driving had to be at work at 8 am
It was FAB though!

10 out of 10 for Oink.
Still got a headache, I'm going to have to have some medicinal help to try to counteract the effects

Like yer Aunty at a wedding without the alcohol???
One student did laugh at us when we were asking where to go for the concert, think he thought we were too old too
Should be fun too, somehow we don't hear about concerts until the tickets are sold out

When you come to relizethat most of what you need for a happy life is right on your doorstep.
For me its having someone to share that space with.
I shall be 81 in November and have seen my share of concerts but I never had to pay the high prices just to stand with a group of people having my hearing destroyed.

My Dad is 81 this year too - Dec for him! I don't think he would have enjoyed last nights concert either, he's more into musicals and Cleo Lane.
