ORANGE PEKOE is a tea GRADING system NOT a bloody flavour.

The tea in the Tetleys box is EXACTLY the same as in the UK boxes!

Nope, have found from previous experience having been served up Pekoe from various people in various places on various occasions it tastes like shite!

It's all in your head. Orange Pekoe is just what people in north america mistakenly call black tea. It's the same stuff - really it is.

Don't think it's that bad, not that I've tasted shite before ;) but it definitely tastes different than the Brit one. And it's not solemnly the water either. We brought some English tea back to Canada and it still tasted nice even with our water. Got some Orange Pekoe and don't like it anymore. Although for some reason the cheapest Walmart great value pack tastes better than all the expensive brands. In the US Walmart you can get Tetley's British blend, that's not too bad.
