Even though I heard Theo saying he would go to Abbotsford it was never in the cards. And when he took a game off for "maintenance" his leaving was in the cards. I guess they can't afford another winger at 500K/yr, and 82 games plus playoffs would be too much for him.

You know you are weak at forward when you give a 41 year old smurf a try out. Theo isn't the answer that the flames need. The flames need a forward(s) that can score. They spent all their money on D that won't compensate for their lack of finish. Kipper and Iggy are getting older too. Who do the flames have for prospects? The flames will be the second best team in Alberta this year and will miss the playoffs unless they can trade one of their D men for a legitimate scoring forward and their PP clicks at around 30%.

Didn't he score 4 in 4 pre-season? I thought they may have taken a chance with him. Maybe he will go back to the UK he did a season or so with Belfast Giants I believe although I would imagine on about 1k a week which is probably why he wants another shot at the NHL.
