may indeed have been a factor. There seem to be a surprising number of recipes for trout with roquefort, so I guess it must be a fairly common mixture. I haven't tried it, not least because OH is not a fan of anything that's come within 10 feet of blue cheese, but she and the kids are away at the inlaws for a couple of weeks soon so I may have to experiment.

Last Sunday when my nieces were here for their tea the eldest who is six and is addicted to beetroot, insisted on eating beetroot with her pavlova - much to the disgust of the rest of us
