Default Women's football - The Euros

The Women's Euro's just kicked off Wednesday. England's opening game is Friday.

I've never been a fan of the women's game but I watched a few of the games at the world cup a couple of years ago and it was very much improved. The 2015 edition is, of course, hosted by Canada.

The goalkeepers aren't good at diving and are easily beaten by high long range shooting but aside from that it was pretty decent.

Perhaps the best thing was the honesty and effort put into it. No diving, no exaggerating injury (although Brazil were a tad guilty at the WC) and no going down if breathed on. It was very refreshing.

Coverage is on BBC3 for those that can watch it and the usual streams.
