At least they made a distinction here, unlike some of the cases I have seen. Whether your personal beliefs accept or denounce Withcraft, it is a recognised and in fact growing practice in Europe, America and Canada. Many of the practices are similar to that of the First Nation people, and I am sure that Lawyers would tread lightly on making accusations of traditional healing methods being a 'Sham'! What this woman has done is fraud, plain and simple, but the method of that fraud will be very damaging to those people who truly believe in their practices and mean others no harm. If she had claimed that God spoke through her to guide this man, would she have been accused of 'Sham Christianity'?
