I've been reading of the chaos at Gatwick and Heathrow so I'm really looking forward to the return journey. There's a train and rail strike on Tuesday so I've had to book a hotel for Monday night to be at Heathrow on time. That's if I wake up in time, I've none of my deaf gadgets with me so I'll be setting five or so alarms on my cellphone, all set to vibrate of course. Then stuffing the cellphone in my sock. Or bra, but I hate sleeping in a bra. Bloody nuisance. Fingers crossed I don't miss the plane!
beautiful to weather yesterday, ruddy cold today and chucking it down. It's a good visit though and I'm pleased I came.
As for the ArriveCan app. There's a special place in hell for everyone associated with that. It's perverted torture.
