Stay indoors and stay safe. The last thing you need is to fall on the ice.

Have a nice trip, see you in the fall! No, I'm not going anywhere. Of course, it can get much colder....
Edit, I'm sitting in front of the tv, weather channel on, and the man just said it's colder in Regina than at the North Pole, ha ha ha ha ha.

Supposed to be -20c here in Kamloops tonight. Bring it on as I will not be leaving the house all week.

Does seem to be staying further north than most winters, 0C as a high today, just a note of appreciation for keeping it north of the border.

Working outside you get a feel for how "bad" a winter actually is.

Temperatures seem a bit higher than average. Snowy days amount seems about average. Hasn't been too tough overall thus far.

-30c here today with the wind, and dry as a bone. My dogs hate it.

It's supposed to be cold here until Monday. One or two cold snaps like this each winter is fairly standard here.

Another -2 and it does not matter if Fahrenheit or Centigrade. Only experienced it once and dog I had refused to go out.

Raised bed?

We have several and when the snow just leaves the tops of the posts visible it makes me think of a graveyard

Actually it's our deck ! I take some of the railing 'panels' off for winter to make clearing it easier and also because they get bent out of shape with all the old heave ho.

(took the old ugly railings off when we moved here and enjoyed the kind of floating deck feel and the better views from it for several years, but then the insurance company got wind and I had to fashion some railings just to keep them happy)
