Perhaps you had a reversal some other month to make up for it. ;) |

It's been a bit nippy in Newcastle today, we even had a dusting of snow and the temperature is due to plummet to -2C overnight.
At this rate I'll run out of my £200 winter fuel allowance soon. |

Re: Winter 2017-18
It was -30 again this morning, went out and plugged the van in at 3:30. I have to fly to BC tomorrow so I'm deciding what clothes to take for a week of +3 daytime and -3 night temps for a change.

I did that, again, this week. I should have hook points, like a racing car.

Re: Winter 2017-18
Lots of freezing rain last night. Steps salted so they're safe enough and the newspaper was delivered to the mailbox at the side of the door, whereas on an icy day last week the woman understandably tossed it (bagged) onto the drive, so that was okay too.
However the road's slippery (though more walkable than the sidewalk) and I just watched SD walk down it to go to the bus stop. The road is plenty wide enough for cars in both directions and her, but whenever a car came up the street, those going in her direction still slowed and waited for the other car to pass before they passed her. |
