wine buffs, a little help please
Bodegas Lagarde 'Atlas Cumbres' Torrontes, Mendoza, Argentina.
They serve this wine at my favourite restaurant and I am rather partial to it. Can't get it in LCBO of course.
Any suggestions for something similar?. I'm thinking Viognier

I know bugger all about wine. If it costs around $16 a bottle then ill buy it. I tried "little penguin" something or others. They were quite nice. If I'm taking one as a "gift" then ill spend $25 - $40 depending who its for. That's my criteria. There is one out called "bitch" though. This might be the new go to.

Reminds me of Liebfraumilch, Black Forest Gateaux and Berni Inns ......... which were then a step up from chicken in a basket in the late 60s/early 70s.....

I don't know the wine you mention, but when it comes to Viognier, I like this one:
