Ok - I'm ready to go. They have phoned me up to check I am still comming, didn't think I was nervouse but now I am. Squeezed into a suit I couldn't even do up 6 weeks ago and I have even got the dog in!

I've got my boots ready, my bag ready and my resume ready - and now I'm ready early!:eek:

The job is at the New Eddie Bauer store that's opening...soon I guess? So not exactly high powered and I'm so not into fashion it's daft, seemed like a good idea when I applied:thumbup:

How did it go?? I think, on the whole, that putting the dog into the suit as well was a mistake. Was that just to prove you have lost weight?? :eek::rofl:

Well........I'm back!

I was over dressed in my suit (when I asked what I'd be expected to wear she said not as dressy as you have on:eek:).

The interview went well - usual questions, why did you leave the UK? what do you like about here? Nothing much about previous work experience apart from do you have any customer service skills.

I got a, Well it's going to be lovely working with you, I shall just check your references out and give you a call on Thursday, so I guess it's a :thumbsup:

I gave her a copy of the reference my lask Uk employer did for me - it made her cry:unsure:

The wages seem to be fair considering it's shop work and there seems to be a lot of incentives, so if I get a positive phone call on Thursday, I'll be starting work at the end of November!:thumbsup:
