The winds have clearly shifted, the air quality has gotten significantly worse in the last 4 hours and now the smell of smoke very strong. At 8pm when I checked the closest air monitoring station to our house it was a 4, now it's a 10.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind wishes - we are home safe and sound, with (currently) no fires threatening.

Last Friday, we had 3 (!) fires within 3km of our house....scary.

Now just this confounded smoke to deal with (like everyone else in BC)

Some ocean winds and a bit of rain, and Vancouver is back to normal. Air Quality is a 4.
