So, who should have died young, instead of becoming ridiculous?

For starters:

Top of my list:

Alex James (Blur)

Top of Hubby's list:

Morrissey
Paul Weller

All people who would have been remembered well if only they'd died young!

So, go on, who should be dead ......:D

Ozzy Osbourne

maybe, but he helped change the direction of the music scene and opened the door for a stream of new and probably more talented bands who otherwise would never have existed.

Phil Collins should have had the decency to fall off his perch the moment Peter Gabriel left Genesis, and spared us from all his later nonsense.

Also David Bowie should have had the good sense to accidentally overdose immediately after the Berlin period.:D

Tony Blair would never have happened. I would possibly consider one day returning to England. Just conceivably, the UK would have embraced membership in the EU instead of becoming a pariah. Ronald Ray-gun would have been as isolated as he deserved. There might have been no stupid reliance on individualism. Social concepts might still be something that people think about. Property values might not define whether or not you have "succeeded". Lastly but not leastly, Grantham would never have been heard of.

arthur scargill would have been chancellor of the exchequer. no working class anymore, they are all constantly on strike.

france has invaded and annexed cornwall due to us being a bunch of wet liberals who let argentina walk all over us in the falklands, especially after they executed 30 islanders who formed a resistance recently.

the average house price is 30p, no one cares and everyone lives in a shithole.

britain is a worldwide joke with the economy of zimbabwe and the political clout of Belgium. the uk armed forces have been disbanded and now form a uk defence force as per Japan.

we are a 1 party state with no say or choice, the union mafia now all controlling with a green/CND alliance.

beards and vegetarianism are mandatory.

the state does not allow individuals to form businesses or be personally sucessful, a 5yr state farming plan has been introduced, the collective shall dig.

He's tried before. He produced screen prints of my BE posts in court to demonstrate a particular point once. Judge ignored them. Rather funny actually. :D
