So she was found dead what are your thoughts?

Everyone has to die at some stage. Seems she didn't do herself any favours in making her life a long one.
Also means that seeing as she is my hubbys (closet) favourite singer, I predict he will be playing her greatist hits cd whilst warbling "I wanna dance with somebody" in his best falsetto voice on his way back from the rig in the morning.
That is unless one of the guys is riding with him, in which case he'll be playing Metallica.
They are my thoughts right now

Yeah but won't you rather that dance is with you and not with someone else? Who is he going to be his new "favourite" now....Nicki Minaj, Rihanna?

What is there to say?....she had it all and f***ked up big time. Hopefully it will serve as another example to our kids what happens when you dance with the Devil. What a waste!!

Not really a waste, she realised her potential and left a legacy of some kind. We don't even know why she died yet ... If it is drugs-based, then I'm reminded of the Amy Winehouse thread last year which had a mixture of "her fault, what a waste; not her fault, it's an illness" type comments. I side with the latter. Whatever the outcome of the autopsy she was clearly struggling with addiction for many years.

Latest is she was on prescription drugs and drowned, as she was found in the bathtub. If this is true, it may explain while they barely tried to revive her, if at all, she was probably dead for some time before the emergency services arrived and stood no chance.
She had a gift (not my cup of tea but a great talent) fortunate enough to be wealthy and as far as we knew healthy before turning to drugs. We all have to make choices in life, thankfully alot do not have to struggle with addiction, which must be terrible. None the less, she chose to self destruct.
I feel sorry for her daughter.
RIP Whitney Houston, probably the most at peace that she's been in years.

*shrug* Much like when Whacko kicked the bucket, had absolutely zero effect or impact on me. talented blah blah, cut short in her prime blah blah great loss to the world blah blah.
Plenty of people die every die, some more deserving, some less so, but the outcome is the same.
Hopefully they won't play too much of her crooning on the TV/radio for long.

I think a lot of people aspire to be famous.
Seem's like a lot of famous people who have everything in terms of wealth clearly aren't happy.
I find the whole thing really sad actually. They must be desperately lonely and lost to end up killing themselves.

People shouldn't be allowed to get famous 'till they are about 45. Hopefully, by then, they might be big and ugly enough to look out for themselves better.

I felt sorry for Winehouse because she was young, in the public eye and clearly needed help on many levels.
Less pain for Houston- hadn't given her a second thought the last 10 years and kind've feel she should have known better.

She'll probably still be.
