Hi,
I am looking for advise & opinions on where to locate in the future when hopefully my application is accepted.I plan to move in about 3-4 years so have time on my hands to do the homework.
I want to move somewhere between Toronto & Kinston.I would like to be in a community near the lake that has all the ammenities for a 40 something couple. We are friendly, like to have plenty of evening entertaiment close at hand, yet dont want all the hassle of city living.
We need to be within say..45 mins drive from work ( wherever that may be ) so industry needs to be within reach.
We love the waters edge and would love to invest in a property soon, that may be part of a up-and-coming community in a few years...somewhere that is developing could be a option.
If that information is useful i would appreciate any information, links etc etc that may help
Thanks in anticipation

Wellington, or somewhere else on prince edward county?
Close enough to Belleville / Trenton and what little goes on there, and even Kingston would be a commutable option maybe if you were at the Picton end of the isle.
Not really enough to go on though. What do you do for a living?, Why choose Toronto to Kingston? (not that theres anything wrong with that)
Tons of waterfront on the Bay of Quinte, but prices are rising as people are priced out in cottage country.

I have a depot that i run day to day,therefore i have staff,engineers etc.
I have a apprenticeship in engineering although my experience has always been in management within the engineering and service type industries.
I have friends who live in Kingston and surrounding districts so that would be handy to have people close by that i know.I realise that close by in Canadian terms can be 2-3 hours drive away.I have visited Piction,Kingston and Toropnto and they all seem to be nice areas althouigh i am interested in learning about other places too.
By the time my daughter leaves University in 3 years time we should be ready for making the move. Our mortgage will be paid by then so now is the time to start making plans for the future.
Does this make sense...
Thanks for your help
