Yay! Which Mk do you have?

It's a 1978 Capri, 2.8 Ghia. Dunno which Mk it is though, bit of blondness going on there. I'm really excited about it though and can't wait to drive it next year. Going to run it for a while in it's present condition and then some bodywork will be done, the four speed changed to five speed and new paint will be needed.

This is it just come home:thumbsup:

Nice. I have a 1972 Mk1 2.6 which is pretty much rot free. Yours is a Mk2. The Mk3 never came over here. Good idea about the 5 speed box, they could really do with one. I'll pm you the best place to get spares.

Oooh Lovely!

OH was quite relieved that the ones that came here were the German ones and not Dagenham Dustbins:rofl: Mine has a little rot in the front bonnet and the rear lower quarters need replacing other than that it's great - Oh, where it's been stored for so many years some of the paint has been rubbed down to bare metal from someone brushing past it. Quite a sad story, the guy spent years collecting spares for it and then died on holiday:( It's come to a good home though and will see the light of day again.

OH took a look at the pics, it's got a mustang engine and some mustang interior, I think the phrase mentioning barge pole should come to mind:eek: Stick to your Jag for now.

Not keen on the bodykit on that Capri, I prefer them restored visually like the original.

Love yours PP
