Question What's your favourite classic car?

Reading HWP's thread regarding cars made me think of my favourite classic car - the Citroen DS

Our neighbours had one when I was little in light blue & I just loved it

I love the head lights, the hugh bonnet/hood & the way it tapers off at the back. If I had one i'd love one in black as IMO they are a pretty sexy looking car

What's yours

So hard to choose just one...

XK120

Ferrari Dino

Lambo Miura

If I had to choose it would be the Lambo, if only for that fantastic V12, and the looks, and the mystique.

I'm in total agreement with you regarding the DS...

The last time I saw one here in Canada was in downtown Ottawa....the owner was an ex-pat in his 60's, sporting a very posh accent and an ascot....despite this, I still love the car.

Nothing wrong with a Capri

My Grandad had a Mk1 & then a MK2 back in the 70's. My second car was a Mk3 2.0 S - fantastic cars

and i could add so many more, for goodness sake does this really need explaining. see below. its got to be red, preferably italian, maser to follow, two door, soft top, and 1960's or before. oh, and nothing, absolutely nothing, including the GT, from Ford.

never ceases to amaze me that ford techs base their colours on the pills they are taking for the depression they have working for ford, or the colour of the crap they had this morning.
got into a new crown vic at work yesterday. checked back seat for usual crap left by my customers, and on lifting the back seat found i could look straight down onto the road through the hole there, nice.

maser. lovely.

Ah, but I said favourite classic car, not, classic prestigious sports car

Capris' have always been slated & always will - didn't stop me from enjoying mine but I did refuse to take my friend Sharon & her boyfriend Kevin in it when they wanted a lift
