It was pretty windy - peak gusts in St. John's of 130kph+. We've lost a couple of trees plus a gate but aside from that seemed to have survived. Power went out for 3 hours and cable tv is still out. Most businesses, including my employer closed early. Schools were closed all day. A snow day in September!
