What makes you feel old?

I was just talking to one of the young guys at work when a Wham! song came on the radio. So I've started singing and said "oh I remember the days and wearing the Choose Life t shirt!"
He looked at me and said "what was Choose Life? A film or something?"
I said "Nooooooo you plank Choose Life - Wham - Club Tropicana - you do remember Club Tropicana surely, or at least heard it"
Blank look
"you know - Wham - George Michael, Andrew pretty guy, - Wham?????(obviously if I shout it the penny will drop)"
Ummmmmm - more blank looks
At which I gave up and wandered off muttering something about the youth of today.
But it got me thinking about things that my generation grew up with - and you take for granted cos all your mates are pretty much the same age and can relate to all these things from way back when - that younger generations have no clue about (still can't believe he had no idea about the choose life t shirts though
)

Haha.
I was getting my hair cut one day and one of the guys there who was about my age and the supervisor had Jack playing on the radio. The younger ones (like I'm old) were just laughing at him for playing an "Oldies" station.

Oh, and last week I was out selling Girl Guide cookies with my oldest daughter and another girl in her group. The other girl, who is definitely a teenager, said "I can't be seen driving in your car. Its older than I am."

LOL at you all....
for me - my teenage daughter reminds me EVERY day - I think she makes a point of it
However - on the other hand, having an old wrinkly for a husband makes me feel positively youthful
(Edit to say: Don't tell him I said that lol)

Ok, I was going to write something on-topic and semi-witty there about how old I've been feeling recently. But the length of the grass has made me cranky, so I've now decided to put in 20 mins of "power fishing" down at middle river then watch the match.
I'm thinking 2-3 to barca. That's better... I don't feel so old or cranky any more

When the barber asks if you want your eyebrows trimming!
I hear you on the young police officer bit too I was out on the local road the other night and found a drunk lying in the side of the road head on the road way. I dragged him over off the road way (lucky because it was dark and anyone could have cut the corner crushed him.... second thoughts they probably wouldnt have been able too). He still didn't wake up so I called 911 I didnt want to pick him up and carry him home and be accused of mugging and god knows what else
The young RCMP lady constable was a cute (OMG I am now a dirty old man) ooo about 16 year old with her hair pulled back ballerina style.
Anyway besides thinking "cute", I was thinking "damn I feel old", especially when she asked my date of birth!
