Hi guys, been away from this forum for a couple of months. The reason being, we sold our house in Calgary and have begun retired life in Nova Scotia. We drove out here in six and a half days, including a two day stop off in Winnipeg to see O.H's relatives - and to get eaten alive by the mossies - and arrived in Halifax a couple of weeks ago.
Right now we are renting in Bedford, checking our our new surrounding and enjoying being able to walk down to the waterfront everyday, even if it is raining.
So far we have managed to get the mundane things done - drivers licences exchanged, car registered, insurance, etc., all without any problems. Now all we have to do is the little thing of finding somewhere to live

There are more and more condos being built all over NS, so you should have lots of choice. Which are are you wanting to settle in or are you going to do a recce around the Province?

Hi. We came here for a holiday last year and went around the province. Decided that we wanted to be close to Halifax, airport, etc. Bedford looks ideal for us.

(although we got a snow plough in the house deal
