The mortgage is still going through the motions but our broker is fairly confident 25% will be enough. We have 30% but would like a bed and stuff so would rather get through on 25% we went a bit higher than we really intended too but the house was THE one so we stretched, not ridiculously so but enough that if they take 30% we wont be rushing out to buy a 60" plasma :rofl:

just to let you know we signed off on the mortgage yesterday and it went through at 25% and 40 years amortization.

Woohoo we can afford a bed and a TV that was heading for a tough discussion right there:rofl:
