That story is from 5th October 2014, before the oil price drop started to have consequences on the Alberta economy....
Back then, 'experts' were suggesting $80/barrel was the floor.
Brent Crude was under $58 and WTI was under $52 last Friday....

...couldn't delete the thread but got the post, It was only a post about Canadian Crude being the oil of choice for Female all-in Wrestlers...goes on smoother but is too expensive...they said they had started boycotting it, withabix is obviously a hard core fan as they commented straight away..
Okay, okay you got me, a friend sent me a link to a Newspaper article from Jim Prentice, who said "we need TFW" I said "aha! already" and posted the link...for withabix to slap me down in my smugness and point out it was from last October....and you can't delete the thread..soooo
