Did you hear it in your head said in a Jim Bowen voice?!

All is not lost. HID's hairdresser called this morning to say they have a cancellation, that should break the back of most of the afternoon.

I just had to Google him! I could have done it 'just like that' though...I really didn't have a clue what the were on about....it's a steep learning curve for me...I've never been keen on sport!

I also failed. Never resat. Good job really - mutual fund awareness isn't something one casually mentions when forking hay to the herd.

Shitty is a understatement. I failed too. Im re taking it in a week and a half. If I dont pass, im out of a job. :(
Your right, reading it over and over, its not sinking in. Ive re-written down in my own way of key points and I tell ya, nothing sinking in. Its so boring.

On a positive side, if I cant sleep I can just read up on hedge funds. Whilst reading that chapter I could barley stay awake.

Last Saturday I was stupid enough to partake in a polar plunge for Charity so don't aim to do that again this week ! Next fews days currently as follows

Friday night - OH is off to a make-up party so it'll be a night in with a couple of cold ones, pizza/wings in front of the TV. OH says she might not go as it's snowing bad and more to come supposedly - I said I'll take her and make sure she gets there :)

Saturday day - Shopping has been mentioned but hopefully squirm out of that one this week. I'll blame the weather :)

Saturday night - We've been talked into going to a Sweetheart ball for the soccer club my son coaches at. Not particularly looking forward to it as only person I know is going is the OH ?!?!

Sunday - hopefully absolutely **** all apart from a Sunday roast and bottle of wine.

We're thinking of going to the Liftlock to watch the Hockey. Sounds fun, apart from the possibility of seeing Don Cherry.

[QUOTE=Oink;10519781The whole thing’s a recipe for disaster and to be honest I’m intending to employ some delaying tactics tomorrow morning although she’s wised up to most of them.[/QUOTE]
She said you're coming shopping, you tell me how you like the clothes. I said I'll be in sporting goods, come get me in front of the fish hooks. She said no, you're coming with me. When she looked away I pulled a pair of panties out of the bin and pulled them over my head so when she turned around I was looking at her through the leg-holes and she just said, "Ok, I'll come get you downstairs."

I'm in my bed, with my iPad, Fridays edition of the Fredericton Gleaner and a good library book, and a cup of tea. This sounds like a great weekend plan, except that at some point I have to assist my son to make a papier mâché Ogopogo for Monday. I shall not shovel...I can't see accross the street because the snow is blowing in great horrible gusts. I am reflecting on how glad I am that we didn't move to Nova Scotia! They look to be needing very big shovels.

Sounds good, I miss the ocean stuck out in the middle of Alberta. But since we've just started lambing 700 ewes looks like any plans I may have for the next several weekends are scuppered

Cuba as a place was lovely. The resort was supposed to be 4 star but 75% of our group got food poisoning as did quite a lot of the other holiday makers there. My husband is a picky eater at the best of times, after the first dreadful breakfast all he ate was pasta / fruit - until I got him a 'burger' from the beach bar, which is what made us all sick.

Poor bugger came home looking like he was anorexic.

We're planning to be snowed in this weekend, a storm's a-coming. In preparation, I've fetched herbal tea, quinoa, fruits and berries. I've ensured that there's no shortage of scented candles. The complete works of Paulo Coelho await our rapt attention and subsequent excited exchanges over the insights within.

My plan this weekend is to get outside and disconnect the Xmas lights from the circuit that also includes the porch and driveway lights. We need the latter. We no longer need the former.
