Smile It seems we have a lodger...(pic)

It appears that we have a new resident living with us in our yard.

If you look weally, weally close under the spruce tree you'll see our new lodger Mr. Wabbit.

He has been spending most of the days staying cool under there for the last couple of weeks. It'll be interesting to see is he spends the winter with us.

Cheers
Steve

Well he is not really what you or I would call a bunny.

He is a young Jack Rabbit and could be considered huge when compared to the rabbits you see in the UK. To give some idea of size the needles on the spruce tree he is under are about 3/4" long and the rocks are 1" to 1.5" in size.

Here is a closer shot perhaps this might help.

Cheers
Steve

He's been eating Mrs. H's flowers. Actually he chopped off the flower heads an dropped them on the ground and ate the green part of the plant.

Mrs. H was not best pleased.
