It still does not feel real!
After 23 hours travel, Bingley - Manchester - Chicago - Detroit - Windsor; plus snow, ice storms and delays! We made it.
Boarder control and customs were great, really helpful and even entertained the little ones who were very ratty and tired.
So far we have done the walk through with the builder on the house, surrendered UK license for Ontario ones, got Insurance, car house, life, signed the mortgage, bought a car and now I'm off shopping for furniture! Aagh; not had minute to breath let alone sleep. but hey we are here.
The goods to follow are still in Montreal, so we wont get them for Christmas, but at least we are able to stay with relatives.
So good luck to everyone else playing the waiting game, have faith, you will make it.... eventually.

Welcome
I was at Windsor Crossings last night, thought of you as I drove back along Cousineau and gave you a virtual wave.
I know you've got your rellies but if you need anything, give me a PM and I'll be happy to help
Oh, and change your location in your profile now
