Cinquante is an absolute assault on your flavour buds compared to this swill.

I can't believe Sleemans' brew this stuff.
This one may be more up dbd's alley

Here is a beer that seems to have slipped off the radar big time.

"C'est What?", the bar, was and probably, still is, unbearably up itself. I'm not about to try the beer.
Cinquante has a curious green tint to it, it's very dodgy indeed. One day I was standing at the bar in the Yard when "Franco" walked in, face like thunder, Franco was the enforcer for some ex-Montreal gangsters who worked from the block. He usually drank exotic cocktails. "Cinquante" he demanded and downed it. "That's been my ****ing day" he said. I later discovered that he'd broken his cell phone while pounding some mule who'd failed to deliver. Now I buy 50 for visitors from abroad and think of Franco's sage advice "buy Motorola. In my business phones are suffering, Motorola can take it".

Cinquante was more flavourful in the past, but like many beers brewed by the behomeths of the Canadian beer world, it has been dumbed down significantly in terms of IBU's.
