Hi there everyone!
The wiki has a lot of useful links to find accommodation of the various kinds in Canada, but I thought it'd ok to ask if anyone could make any personal recommendations for Vancouver? I am looking for rented, furnished and shared accommodation in the city. I am a single professional engineer currently looking for employment. I would hope to land a room for up to $700 CAD/month until I land a job and then perhaps take on a place of my own. If anyone could make any personal recommendations, that'd be great.
Cheers.

Craigslist looks quite hopeful. There's not much to do left, so I should be in a position to book the flight soon - then do Craigslist.
I have another question which I think is another thread about skiing at Christmas.
Thanks for your help and making me feel at home already...
