Watched it from our condo in the end as OH was reluctant to get soaked - had the lightning show to go with it as well which made it quite special. A better display than Canada's imo.

The seemingly continuous forked lightning and the amazing shades in the sky from purples to oranges were just incredible last night. I think the result at the final whistle went to Mother Nature.

It was very cool - the north shore mountains were lit up with it seemingly continuously from 8 till 10:30. Some really big forks as well.

I'm hoping it will be a good show, but I am preparing myself to be underwhelmed
