Besides all their songs about battles won and lost, the Scots and the Irish seem quite romantic but we're short of Welsh love songs. Does anybody know any Welsh songs that would be OK for Valentine's Day, apart from "The Ash Grove" and "All Through the Night"?

That's what alcohol is for.

I suppose...I wouldn't know being teetotal and all. I guess when you are drunk regardless of the gender, every shag is dynamite?

You must have to beat the ladies off with a shitty stick, ultrarunner. You're successful, charming, always well-turned out - I imagine a sports jacket and some smart greay slacks, with penny loafers - you're attentive to a woman's needs and you can always drive home after a night out.

I'm beginning to think I might go bi.

What would you do on a typical ultrarunner date? A film, dinner, hot air ballon ride?

Hang on a minute. There's nothing wrong with a hot air balloon ride. I've piloted quite a few folks on dates. If you haven't tried it you should. It's akin to a good day on the water fishing !

I'm channelling Richard Gere in 'An Officer and a Gentleman'...

I never said there was. It sounds very romantic and not in the slightest bit cliched.

Surely rohipnol would have to feature at some stage?
