Can you be sure that when you buy the jar of ginger you won't find the contents are actually ashes?

At least a step up from a Folgers tin (Big Lebowski).

I managed to find a nice non-urn looking urn at the crematorium for "only" $200. Thankfully my ex-husband and daughter have jobs so they can buy their own containers for their share. (Although I think they're going to be scattering so won't need containers). I'm thinking I'll keep half in the nice jar and scatter the other half next time I'm in Canada

When my grandmother died, her kids just used the free one they provided, plastic lined cardboard box, then when my grandfather died, he was buried in a casket not cremated, so they put her ashes into a heart shaped pillows one of the daughters made and buried her ashes with him in the casket.

That sounds really nice JS. I'm thinking that I might put some of my son's ashes with my mom's when she dies.

Actually, that $525 is a bargain compared to the others.

It was, grandmother died suddenly in 1992 at 52, and no funeral at the time, so when he died, it was a funeral for both.

This looks way better value and will keep you drier, though probably not so clean spiritually

Three layer Gore tex hard shell jackets. Just bought one for the upcoming winter and I was quite surprised at the cost.

The copper one is $220 whereas the gold plated copper one is just $55 ! Something fishy going on there. Which one did you get Kim?

And a bit overcrowded. 8 people in a tent...and it's not a big top or booze tent.

It's a premium for being fussy enough to want a half

Don't ever believe the # of people that the tent manufacturers say the tent is designed for. I went camping earlier this summer in a 5 person tent and it fit 2 comfortably with our clothes etc, 3 in a pinch maximum.
