We're half way through second series of WW - god, I miss that kind of pace and writing. Great series. Enjoy! :)

I have been trying to figure out a simple way of getting access to Huluplus (Which is accessible only in the US) you apparently need a US credit card and US address to get it I think which makes it more difficult to switch over to than Netflix.

US address is easy to get but the US credit card is a little more difficult.

I have read that there is a lot of good content on Huluplus

Again, thanks to Ann, I have that too. But I'd need to be convinced that I would be getting value by spending $7.95 on that in addition to netflix.

Huluplus offered a week or so of free access, but I wasn't interested so I don't know if you need a US credit card and address to try it.

The icon appears on my Apple TVs now but must admit I'm paying enough for Netflix and the US DNS at the moment. As soon as Shameless is finished on the Movie Network I will be dropping the $20 pm movie package from FibreOp as I download most of what I want to watch anyway. Boardwalk Empire has finished and I will download VEEP as and when they appear online.

I pay for a US DNS IP address on my Canadian credit card using this 'trick'.

I know what you mean but I am working towards switching cable off altogether which is costing a ridiculous $85 per month plus tax here in NS....no extras in that package !!! ... Then just having an internet and phone bundle plus 2 x $8 for huluplus and netflix Total cost then $96 per month

Thanks for that will check it....but I think I need something slightly different.......I will doing it through my Apple TV and I have been told and read it online that you require a US Itunes account which is not as simple as changing the location to US........I think Itunes requires a valid US credit card because Huluplus uses that as the verifier......

You don't need a US iTunes acccount to watch netflix on apple tv (this is what I do) you only need to set your location to the US.

Even if you do need a US iTunes account, it's easily done *once* you have the US DNS in place. You need to purchase a free app and sign up via this method.

Good luck!

On the ATV I just flipped the store to US. I also for good measure changed the DNS settings given by unblock both on the router and on the two ATVs and everything worked on the ATVs and all other devices.. Haven't tried Hulu. BBC iPlayer works both on the iMac which I Airplay to the plasma and also on my iPad.

We're no longer set.

After just under a month of seamless operation Netflix seem to have rumbled us and just yesterday evening disappeared. Bugger.

Now what?

Thank you kind sir. That's done the trick.

<I thought maybe because I'm in France, where Netflix doesn't exist, they'd flagged my IP address as smelling too much of garlic>.

Thanks. BTW I simply entered the new DNS address given in the video and did a restart. Worked fine.
