I love the Tea Party. I really hope they push their agenda further and further to the right while nobbling some more entrenched Republican politicians in the process. It reminds one of the rather self-destructive bloodletting of the 2nd and 3rd Internationals.

Yeah, I love them too. It's about time more women realised rape is, not, in fact traumatic, but a gift from God.

I do find it deliciously ironic that some republicans are tweeting about how they are going to leave the US and live in Canada instead now.

I believe you have the first fact incorrect, but I know I won't be able to change your mind.

I accept the second quote is lunacy.

No-one's going to vote for a left-wing Republican when they could just vote for a Democrat. Romney lost because he's too much of a lefty for the Republican base, not because he's too far to the right.

He's right. Appealing to your more ...er... radical voters is the way to win elections. Just ask Michael Foot or Ian Duncan Smith. Oh wait.. it isn't so he's wrong.

For all the wonderful state by state victories on women's right and gay rights, plus a bit of liberalisation of cannabis laws to boot, there's no escaping the fact that the country is evenly split down the middle and the Tea Party are not going away any time soon.

Obama may have won the electoral college vote but he's still surrounded by Republicans in the House. Good luck gettting your budget passed Mr. President, and what sort of budget will it end up looking like anyway?

Bottom line...another 4yrs for the man (2 terms better 1 term), which Romney and all his millions don't even have. Perhaps he can join the McMahons (WWE fame) that also lost running for a senate sit with almost $25 million dollars personal money

Like I said before, 'take that Mitches'
