It looks like we're going to change our hotel to something in Cottage Country now. Waiting to find out exactly where the car is (Lafontaine?) before changing bookings, waiting for a postcode so we know for sure

HOWEVER if it's going to cost a mint to change hotels we might just book a night up by the car instead and forfeit a night in Niagara.

Funnily enough, it's probably going to end up being Midland, we'll have to see what Travelocity can do for us.

IIRC Midland itself is not super nice, a bit industrial, but there is probably something nice nearby.

OK! I will try to find something around there but not there later I suppose. Any ideas about Barrie? Just think of travelocity choice, seeing as they already have my money

Top tip: go to the golf club for dinner in NOTL. On a lovely summer's day you can see TO right across the lake. The food's great too.

There's also a FABULOUS hotel/restaurant called The Charles Inn: http://www.niagarasfinest.com/properties/charlesinn/. Had lunch there. Truly delightful.
